Public Interfaces, Case Study
Advised by Kate Lee for the course Public Interfaces at SVA, I designed "Mesa" an interactive tactile + digital interface on the surface of the waiting room table, which combines the principles of Etch a Sketch and the Design Pad at the Cooper Hewitt.

The Problem

Waiting rooms are antiquated. Each one has the same stack of magazines. How can we make better use of this space, so that the people waiting in these rooms could even interact with each other in an inviting and pleasant way? 

The Solution

An interactive tactile + digital interface on the surface of the waiting room table, which combines the principles of Etch a Sketch and the Design Pad at the Cooper Hewitt.
