I’m Mia, a design genie, interaction designer, UX master, innovator, and strategist.

 

As a UX Designer at TVNZ in New Zealand, I was instrumental to the creation and transformation of many digital experiences, such as the TVNZ+ app, TVNZ+ sport hub and 1News platform. My designs led to higher user engagement, as well as enhanced visual design, navigational ease, and revamped brand strategy. I am passionate about creating human-centered designs that optimize the way in which users interact with technology.

Furthermore, my freelance experience designing over two thousand websites for startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs worldwide demonstrates my ability to be self-driven, proactive, adaptable, and prolifically creative. I consistently demonstrated exceptional communication skills in working with a wide variety of people, interfaces, and industries. I earned thousands of rave reviews from clients, and maintained stellar relationships with high-performance sites.

 

I'm an MFA Interaction Design alumna from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Studio Art from Principia College.
